Gate codes for the River Park have been changed as of Thursday, Sept. 5. Please call the office for the new codes. You must be current with your HOA dues to receive the code.

Because of recent changes on the DRROA Burn Permit, property owners will need to come by the office and fill out a new  revised permit. The new permits will be good for a longer period of time, but have some new restrictions. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please check the new Burn Ban signs on River Ranch and Kings Ranch as you enter the subdivision to see if Bandera County is under a ban or not.

Please note, as of Sept. 10, 2019, there is NO BURNING on any cleared or uncleared lots with no water and/or structures on them. This includes newly and previously cleared lots, material must be chipped or hauled off.

Bandera River Ranch subdivision is a small acreage residential community nestled in the beautiful Texas Hill Country and is located approximately four miles south of Bandera off Hwy 16 S. and approximately 30 minutes from San Antonio.
The community was developed between 1972-1977 and consists of 800 acres of beautiful country home sites ranging from 1/2 to 1 acre lots, many with gorgeous views, that overlook the Medina River, Privilege Creek Bluff or back up to private ranches.

Currently there are approximately 300 single family residential homes with custom homes continuing to be built on a regular basis. This community offers its members many fine amenities including: swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, a large covered pavilion with outdoor kitchen and grille, playground, picnic areas and a 24 acre  park along the Medina River.

Playground and Pavilion at Overview Park

Playground

The playground is a great place for families to take their children to play in our subdivision. Thank you to the many people who donated money and time to make it all possible! Grilles, tables and benches are available next to the playground, tennis & basketball courts.

Pavillion
Our large covered pavilion has an outdoor kitchen with running water and a large grill available. The pavilion is available to rent for parties seven days a week, except on holidays, with a refundable deposit, to DRROA residents and property owners. Please come by the DRROA office make your reservations at least two weeks in advance. The pavilion and/or pool and can only be rented twice per season per member. All garbage must be hauled off to receive your deposit back in full.

The code for the courts has changed, call the office for the new code.
The tennis and basketball courts have seen a lot of action since they were resurfaced so come on out and enjoy the great exercise and sunshine. The courts remain locked to make sure they are used by members only, so make sure to call the DRROA office during business hours to get the latest code.

Swimming Pool & Gazebo at Overview Park

Pool season runs from May 5th to September 30th and membership is checked by Park Attendants or volunteers during operating hours. You can view the current schedule/ hours by clicking on the Pool tab.
Parties can be booked by calling the DRROA Office during business hours two weeks in advance. The pool can only be reserved twice a season per member, not on Sundays or a holiday and all garbage must be hauled off to receive a full return on your deposit. Make sure to come by the DRROA office to purchase guest cards prior to bringing guests to the pool. River Park

River Park

Gate code for the River Park has changed, call the office for the new code.
Our 24 acre River Park is a great place to have a picnic, camp overnight or all weekend right on the banks of the Medina River. Available seven days a week, there are three sites available with tables and a grill at each one. Park Permits are issued at the DRROA Office for residents and property owners; be sure to call and make your reservations at least two weeks in advance. A $75 refundable deposit is required (Garbage left behind will result in a $15 per bag fee).

Our two mail centers are located on River Ranch Drive and Settlers Lane and are a great place to meet your neighbors, check on HOA and Water Board monthly agendas as well as community information. The Settlers Lane mail center will soon be expanded to accommodate our new residents.
